What is the Green Skills course?
In an effort to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed for a sustainable future, Tech Lancaster is excited to announce the launch of a free 2 week course on Green Skills. This introductory programme is designed to provide participants with essential knowledge in sustainability and environmental stewardship to enable their career growth.
This course aims to bridge the skills gap by offering accessible, high-quality education at no cost to participants.
What does the course cover?
This course introduces the concepts of Green Skills in relation to a variety of industries. This includes Electrical, Heating, Land Based/Sustainability, Environmental Auditing and E-Waste/Electronics Repair.
It aims to equip participants with knowledge about the technologies, practical skills and career pathways that promote sustainable practices in various industries and enable you to begin your Green Career.
Who is the course for?
This course is designed with beginners in mind, but it is for anyone no matter your experience level. If you are interested in Green Skills and sustainability, are eager to learn new skills to accelerate and future-proof your career and have time to complete the course, then this opportunity is for you!
How long is the course?
The course consists of 20 hours of self-guided learning. This learning is a combination of text, videos and quizzes. We advise you to spread this learning across 2 weeks, but if you are a keen learner you could complete it in a shorter period.
